Today is a day for acting rather the re-acting.
For taking some time calm myself so I can look at an obstacle with intellect rather than emotion. Sometimes when I make assumptions about the road ahead and an obstacle appears I can overreact and let my emotions guide me. This often can change my perception and allow me see the obstacle as something it is not.
It is very important in these moments when emotions are high and fear (false evidence appearing real} is in control that I take a moment and breath, meditate and use a variety of tools to calm myself . When my emotions and fears are under control I should look again perhaps shine a light into the shadows and see that what I thought was huge obstacle is just a bump in the road.
Oh that was scary for a moment, now don’t I feel a little silly for overreacting. I will move forward with grace and ease and pehaps a little laughter for letting my emotions get the better of me.
