Today is a day to change the things I can by rolling up my sleeves and getting to work...

Just like the serenity prayer tells there are things I cannot change and things that I can, I just need to be wise enough to know the difference. To bring about the changes that I can is going require hard work, some new knowledge and a renewed determination. My dad told me once that I was the most stubborn willful child, he had evet met. I need to call on that part of myself over the next few months to see me through with grace (I left out the ease cause this is going to al lot of work).

I can see now that the universe was setting me up to be in the best place possible to weather the current storm and have what I need to put things back in order after it has passed. While hunkered down I have been using my time productively to plan how to best utilize the resources available to me. I thank the stars and heaven above every day that you can teach an old dog new tricks allowing me to adapt the everchanging world around me.

As a species whenever we are forced to change, we vehemently appose it, then we adapt and if we look for it we can see how the change has allowed us to grow and thrive in ways we would have never thought possible.

As I write this morning my seeds are sprouting my bees are on their way and I believe spring has finally arrived. Now to get to work and put in the work required to reap what I will sow this fall.
