Today is a for learning something new.

Picking up a small challenge to keep my brain active. I have always committed to be a life long learner to finding new ways of doing things, learning new skills and just learning for the fun of it. Not everything I learn needs to radically change my life. Today the challenge I have given my self is to make ketchup from the tomatoes I froze at harvest time. Life was too busy then and I was amazed to learn that I didn't have to process them then, I could freeze them for a nice wintery day project. By the end of today I will know one of two things how to make great ketchup or a way not to make great ketchup. Nothing will be lost though it might be a good base for barbecue sauce. I had an abundant garden so I can try again, after all mistakes are just learning opportunities.
