Today is a day to recognize the best in others and communicate what we see.

Their own vision might be clouded by other voices, media and experiences. I have found that there are plenty of folks in this world ready to tell us what our perceived faults are. However, having just one person tell me they know I can succeed has kindled a belief that they could be right and I made it so. I wanted to prove they were right to believe in me so at first I succeeded for them.

Words are so powerful. I now try to choose them more carefully so I can hopefully create a positive reflection of those around me. Maybe I can to can help someone change their image of themselves. That’s how payback those who came before by paying it forward.
