
Kevin is Simply Outstanding Solutions; he is the president and main consultant. Kevin has been in the construction business for 40 years specializing in civil/oil gas/logging/mining. Kevin has operated equipment for all the companies he worked for and became management in majority of them. Kevin has also owned his own business in NW BC, building roads logging and mining. He holds a class 1 license and has experience in heavy hauling off roads and highways.
He has been a consultant/general foreman/superintendent/heavy equipment operator for over 35 years.
Kevin was a Superintendent for 18000m of 24” in Saskatchewan for Sask Water. This included a river crossing which was open cut. 1700m of very steep valleys, 12000m 0f 30” PVC for the city of Regina and a 365-lot subdivision for the city of Saskatoon. These projects were all going at the same time during a one-year period.
Kevin later moved on to be the Superintendent for several smaller pipe projects for the cities of Saskatoon, Medicine Hat, CFB Suffield and many oil & gas projects including major facility construction involving all trades. This include but are not limited to electrical, mechanical concrete and structural.
Kevin was also President/Owner Kandu Roadbuilding LTD. He was in business for 5 years, building roads in the Nass River water shed. This company was based out of Meziadin Lake, BC. They did work with the Ministry of Forests/Department of HWYs; drilling and blasting daily working on very steep, challenging terrain. They installed bridges over Fish Creek, as this valley supports BCs most prolific Sockeye Salmon migrations.
Prior to this, he was the Superintendent for 8 years for a logging company in the same region. They dealt with road construction, logging, trucking upwards of 300 log loads a day, long term planning, and a safety program development. They did high lead logging as well as developing excavator logging in unfavourable conditions (wet or overly steep).
The largest pipe he has worked with was 104” concrete, tandem lines, for a syphon through a valley in southern Alberta. He has built and managed well over a thousand KM of road in NW BC.
All these jobs have given him experience and knowledge which he uses daily to ensure that all jobs are done correctly and efficiently. As well as developing trust with and satisfying the company.
